Happy women's day 2024

 In the past years, Women's Day has always been a joyful occasion for me, filled with celebrations and happiness. However, this year feels different. In recent months, I have been deeply troubled by the alarming rise in cases of domestic violence against women. It is disheartening that in 2024, we are still grappling with such a pervasive issue.

Women have proven time and again that they are capable of so much more than just being wives and mothers. Yet, there are still those who seek to confine and limit them, denying them the right to fully realize their potential beyond the confines of traditional gender roles. How can we expect to build a thriving society when we stifle the very individuals who are the backbone of humanity?

As a woman myself, I yearn for equal opportunities and freedom, to be able to leverage my strengths without the shadow of my perceived weaknesses looming over me. I wish to be recognized and valued for who I am, not through the lens of someone else. I believe that every individual, regardless of gender, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.

On this Women's Day, let us recommit ourselves to championing gender equality and empowering women to reach their full potential. Let us strive for a world where every woman is treated as a human being first and foremost. Together, we can create a more inclusive and just society for all.
