We Must Recycle to Stop Plastic Pollution

Plastic pollution is becoming a top rank problem just like climate change in the world today. Plastic production is on the rise and our needs for plastic increase by the day. Glass and steel are being replaced by plastic. Single-use plastic is making matters worse. 

No doubt the theme for World Environment Day 2018 was "Beat Plastic Pollution".

It is right to stop the production of plastic in order to reduce the rate of its pollution. While this is a very efficient solution, there still exists the problem of the already existing plastic which is polluting our environment.

Methods such are burning and burying are not the best ways to destroy plastic. We need to encourage recycling and reuse. 

Plastic waste can be used to make a lot of things these days. The most recent wonderful use of plastic waste is the building of houses. 

We need to put plastic into use permanently so that they don't litter around and pollute the environment.
